October 18 2007 LDS Families Newsletter

Let's try this again! (If you received your newsletter yesterday, I apologize; but it appears that the newsletter did not go to everyone on the list.)

The latest article from the LDS Families site at BellaOnline.com is a Family Home Evening lesson entitled "Write it Down" A Lesson on Gratitude.

This lesson uses Elder Henry B. Eyring's conference talk, "Remember, O Remember". We used this lesson for our FHE this week and discovered it has great missionary and fellowshipping potential. So please consider inviting non-member or less-active friends to your house for an evening of remembering the Lord's blessings in your daily lives.

You are invited to visit LDSFamilies.bellaonline.com for even more great content about LDS Families.

To usher in the holiday season, next week I will refeature a wonderful article by Terrie Lynn Bittner "What To Do If You Don't Trick-or-Treat." She shares some super ideas.

I am also planning a fun family activity you can do to get in the proper mood for the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope to include a printable graphic with that article if I can figure out that part. (I'm still learning.)

To participate in free, fun online discussions, this site has a community forum all about LDS Families located here -

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback!

Have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
