THE CHRISTMAS TREE APPLE, THE PARADIESAPFEL
If you look carefully you will see a red apple sitting amongst the branches of many Christmas trees in Germany during Weihnachten.
It is the "Paradiesapfel", and on Christmas Eve, Heiligeabend, it is a symbol of hope and promise for all those who see it. And, as usual, there is quite a story behind it.

And the "Words Of The Week" are
Ich wuensche Ihnen ein gesegnetes Weihnachtsfest
I wish you a blessed/joyous Christmas
and
Ich wuensche Ihnen frohe Festtage
I wish you happy holidays
I hope you have a peaceful and enjoyable time
