December 28 2012 German Culture Newsletter

The latest article is something for the New Year celebrations:

Prune Men, or Prune People because Zwetschgenmaennla, dried plum boys, were joined by girls, Zwetschgenweibla, long ago, are one of the most popular traditional German handcrafts and found all year.

But as GOOD LUCK symbols they are even more popular around Christmas and New Year. There is a "How To" guide in the article, so you can have some fun making your own........and it is not difficult either.

And New Year in Germany is here::

Ein glueckliches neues Jahr!

There is much more to read and discover on the German Culture, and it also has a forum, so if there is anything you would like to see or if you have any questions or comments then please feel free to get in touch, either in the forum or via email.
