About the BellaOnline History Editor

Welcome to the History corner of BellaOnline where you will find every aspect of history explored and discussed. Thank you for stopping by to see what we are uncovering.

I live in South Dakota with my husband and three children (15, 13, and 9). In the middle of the plains I spend my time freelance writing and learning. I’ve even been known to work an accounting job or two, but writing and teaching are what gets me up in the morning.

I have a passion about history that I inherited from my father and was fed by my husband whose master’s degree is in history. During my childhood I would choose historical sites to spend vacations instead of the typical vacation spots. To stand where history was made sends a thrill through me as I try to absorb it all. I spent my summers traveling with my parents and visiting as many historical places that I could.

Because of this love, I´m going back to school to learn even more and, thus, share it with you. So far I have taken a History Research class, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, History of the Holocaust, American Colonial History, American Government, and American Literature Pre Civil War. I do not think it will be much of a surprise to find topics from these areas appearing on this site.

I hope to bring history alive to you and give you an opportunity to learn more about the past that has shaped the present. History can be fun as well as educational. Join me as I stroll through history and show how it can impact your life.
