I began journaling while I was in High School. I was not aware that I was journaling but reading what I wrote, I realized that was exactly what I was doing.

Journaling became a habit on my bicycle trip to Great Britian. I spent 40 days riding all through England and Scotland, writing each night about everything. My pictures turned out awful but my trip comes alive when I read my journal.

As the years progressed I began to take journaling as part of my daily routine. I have written several books on journaling, devotions, journaling software and travel guides. Since 2001 I have been teaching journaling techniques in a classroom or seminar settings.

Being the journaling editor is a new and exciting adventure I am looking forward to!
