About the BellaOnline Journals Editor

I have been journaling in one form or another since grade school. Although at that time I didnīt know I was. I have always loved to write, take notes, keep a diary. Almost everything I own has a story behind it and I have it wrote down so I wonīt forget it.

Journaling for me has been a way of release. It helps me release the negative emotions that I have experienced. I also write about problems or conflicts that I am having which helps me to look at it from a different perspective. I journal mostly about my spiritual walk with the Lord. Each entry serves as a reminder to me of His faithfulness to me His child on a daily basis. I keep a prayer journal, answered prayer journal, gratitude journal and bible study notes journal.

I love to create my own journaling paper with my computer and printer and am just now beginning to bind them for handmade journals.

In my non-journaling life, I am married to Jason, and the mother of three little girls, Savannah, Madison and Gabriella. I have a college degree in the legal field, but am a stay at home mom and loving it.

I am a book reviewer for Active Christian Media. I write reviews of media in return for free books or products. This is a new and exciting journaling technique for me, journaling through a book. If you are interested in trying out this journaling technique please visit www.blog4books.com and be sure to say that "Melissa" recommended you.

I am also a blog journaler. I maintain a blog for The Old Schoolhouse Magazine which is a homeschool publication. Please visit my ramblings at Florida Homeschooling
Melissaīs Blog Site

I also have a part-time business where I work with three exciting companies. These part-time online jobs, help me to support my journaling habit. I love the smell of a new journal or the feel of a new pen, donīt you?
