Spot Books

Eric Hill is the creator of the Spot books. Also, Hill writes and illustrates the lift-the-flap board books. They are popular with infants, toddlers and older kids between two and five-years-old. The children adventure books are about a yellow puppy with brown spots. Spot and children learn about the world around them.

The Spot books promote learning. Eric Hill’s board books teach basic concepts such as the alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors. The yellow puppy has many new experiences. He goes to the farm, park, beach, circus, woods and school. Children spend many holidays with Spot. Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas are just a few of the holidays Spot celebrates.

Parents and educators like the Spot books due to the large, black print small children can easily view and read. The sentences are simple, one sentence every two pages. Eric Hill’s illustrations give visual clues to the text. The bright colors make every book a book to teach colors. The board books are appropriate size for the age group. In addition, the books are interactive. Kids love to lift-the-flaps of the Spot books by Eric Hill.
