Curious George Books

Guest Author - Taisha Turner

Curious George’s picture books and board books have delighted generations of children. They love the little incorrigible monkey. Maybe it is because children find themselves in outrageous scrapes, too.

Curious George books start in Africa where he encounters ‘The Man in the Yellow Hat.’ The character with no-name takes George to America.

The little monkey is unaware of the consequences of his actions. He soon finds himself in America which is so different from his old home. And, a return trip to Africa is not an option. Curious George goes to live in a Zoo.

George is not a bad monkey just a curious one. Small children are as curious as he. What children have not wondered what happens in a hospital? The most small children know is that they were born in one.

Children who have to go to a hospital are curious. They will learn a few things about the place amid the laughs in Curious George Goes to the Hospital. Also, George will teach them things not to do! Read the book to children before they go for a hospital stay.

Little children like Curious George books and love to learn the alphabet with him. They are so busy enjoying George’s antics; they forget they are learning when reading Curious George Learns the Alphabet.

Margret and H. A. Rey’s classic series has brought joy to children for more than fifty years. Their picture books are for parents and educators who want to give children a gift that will last a lifetime.

Curious George books are now available in different formats. There are Margret and H.A. Rey’s classic picture books for ages 4-8. Board books are available for five-year-old children and younger. Many books come with an accompanying CD.
