Much of our lives we spend learning how to edit ourselves. We speak in a way that is acceptable to our particular culture and society. We walk, and behave in ways that are considered "appropriate". These revision are sometimes necessary, sometimes hurtful, and sometimes both.
Describe a time when you "revised" your way of thinking, speaking, or behavior. What made it necessary? How did you feel about the revised version?
March 20th - Consider the many aspects of your life. Is there an area of your life that is currently in need of revision? Why do you think that is a necessary edit? What will the revised version look like?
March 21st - Sometimes I think that people want to make changes in their lives but either aren't sure how to begin, or aren't willing to do the work needed for their desired change to actually take place. Is there a change you'd like to see in your life? How will you accomplish that change? Are you willing to do the work needed?
March 22nd - What changes have you made recently that you are proud of? Sometimes our revisions are much needed and feel like a ton of dead weight coming off of us. Describe a time that you made a change in your life for the better. How did that feel?
March 23rd - Everyone has a moment when their life changed forever, or they reached a new level. What is a milestone you've passed in your life? Describe that experience. How old were you? What events led up to this big milestone and how did it change your life?
March 24th - Spring is a beautiful season of life, rebirth and new growth. What is your favorite aspect of spring? What areas of growth are you experiencing in your life?
March 25th - "Change and growth take place when a person has risked himself and dares to become involved with experimenting with his life." ~ Herbert Otto
When is the last time you risked yourself and found yourself growing in a positive way? How did it feel to do that?
