TastyBite Low Carb Indian Food

Many types of vegetarian Indian food are perfect for low carbers. TastyBite makes shelf-storable dishes - no refrigeration needed - that whip up in minutes and taste quite good.

For example, the Punjab Eggplant, or Baingan Bharta, is eggplant in a sauce that microwaves in 2 minutes. It's fresh and natural - no MSG, no gluten, no preservatives. Just fresh eggplant and tasty spices. It only has 5g of carb *total* and with three of those being fibers, you end up with 2g per serving! A box has 2 servings in it. Even if you eat the entire box yourself, that's only 4g for the entire meal. That's quite a low number for anybody in any stage of low carb eating.

I found the eggplant to be quite flavorful and rich, a perfect super-easy lunch or a side dish for a dinner. TastyBite also makes kashmir spinach, meatball vindaloo and many other dishes that are wonderfully low carb.

If you're looking for a healthy, easy meal that is definitely far from boring, these are foods to try. They run just over $2/box, so $1/person. If you look at prices at most fast food restaurants, it's quite a bargain!
