Lycopene Family

Lycopene, like most other nutrients found in nature, belongs to a family and the entire family of carotenoids must be present for it to be effective.

This underscores the importance of taking nutritional supplements based on whole-food sources. Vitamin B6, for example, is also never found alone in nature. It’s always with the rest of the B complex family. The same is true for Vitamin E. In foods, it always comes along with the entire vitamin E family of tocopherols and tocotrienols. And vitamin C is always with its whole family of phytonutrients – protopectins and bioflavonoids.

For the only source of lycopene in combination with it's complete family of carotenoids and proven effective by the CDC, USDA and Human Nutrition Research Center, go to www.lycopene.us.
