Unless you are one to follow conspiracy theories, you might not have heard of the Bilderberg Group. Yet, this is one of the most feared secret societies in the Western world. Are they an innocent lobbying group? Or are they the ones controlling the world?
In 1954, a group of influential men met in a Holland hotel called the Bilderberg for which the group was later named. The purpose of this original meeting was to help ease the relations between Western Europe and North America during the Cold War which had become strained and segregated. The group saw that cooperation between the countries would solidify this side of the Cold War. Founded by Joseph H. Retinger and approved by the Holland government, this group hoped to ease economic and political problems by talking freely of problems and possible solutions. These were then brought to governments as suggestions. Many ideas were adopted.
From the beginning, these meetings of the Bilderberg Group were kept secret and closed. This allowed all members to talk freely and not worry about public opinion or backlash. This allows ideas to be presented freely and easily. The concept is great except that one act opened the door for conspiracy theories that never end. What is labeled officially a lobbying group is seen by others as a “shadowy” secret organization bent on taking over the world.
Today, the group still meets in secret. Attendees are invited to remote locations where security is tight to discuss various world problems. To many, this is proof of their conspiracy actions and their desire to control governments. According to many conspiracy watchers, the Bilderberg Group is planning to destroy currencies such as the U.S. Dollar in order to bring about a currency that the whole world will use and they can control.
What else are they up to? Rumor has it that they have plans to take over the world as they currently are directing most of the world’s economies, dictating who goes to war and when, as well as controlling many governments. A small number of people controlling so much could be dangerous and almost unbelievable. It appears that the Illuminati have a rival.
Does the Bilderberg Group exist? Yes! Do they influence governments? Yes! Are they controlling governments? There is no concrete proof. Yet, books have been written based on proof the authors have of the depths of evil the Bilderberg Group possesses.
If the Bilderberg Group is not a secret society conspiring to take over the world, the act of secret meetings is much more powerful than anyone could imagine. If that’s the case, just hold secret meetings to discuss canning preserves but don’t tell anyone the subject. You’ll be on the next secret society list.
