Berry Trio Shake Juice Recipe
This Berry Trio Shake Juice Recipe involves strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries for a great dose of nutrition and antioxidants. Perfect for a juicing cleanse.
I include the gram counts so you can see exactly what went into my nutrition calculations. You can download the spreadsheet to put in your own weights, to get the exact values for the version you make.
1/4 lemon - 24g
3 strawberries - 174g
handful raspberries - 63g
handful blueberries - 89g
1/2 banana - 52g
Tbsp flax seed - 6.5g
1/2 cup almond milk - 109g
1 scoop protein powder - 35g
2 handfuls spinach - 33g
Start by peeling and de-seeding the lemon. Wash the strawberries and blueberries. Add the lemon, strawberry, raspberry, and blueberry into the blender. Peel and add in the banana.
Add in the flax seed, almond milk, and protein powder. The spinach goes on top, and then the ice goes on the very top.
Hit the blend button, and wait for it to turn into a shake!
You get two pint glasses worth of shake here. The nutrition information per pint glass are:
total carb: 33.8g
net carb: 24.3g
Vitamin C: 110%
So this wouldn't be good for someone in induction, but for people in maintenance this is a great way to get a lot of healthy nutrients into you either for breakfast or as a snack.
The cost is a bit higher than other shakes, because of the raspberries and strawberries which tend to be expensive. For us it came out to $3.23 a serving.
To help raspberries and blueberries last longer, keep them stored in a sealed tupperware in the fridge. Have them lay on a paper towel, and replace that every day or two as it gets moist.
