Cantaloupe Peach Juicing Recipe
The reason I include the weights with each ingredient is to show the exact matches in the nutrition spreadsheet. You can put in the weights you used, and get the exact details for the nutrition in your own shake.
1/2 cup blueberries - 83g
1 cup almond coconut milk - 203g
1 scoop french vanilla whey powder
1/2 banana - 61g
handful kale - 34g
handful frozen peaches - 66g
handful frozen cantaloupe - 116g
1 Chobani mango yogurt - 170g
Start by putting the blueberries , milk, and whey into the blender. Add in the banana. Put the kale on, and then the frozen peaches and frozen cantaloupe. Usually you put ice on top to weigh it down and push the other ingredients into the blender mechanism. Here the frozen fruit serve the same purpose. If you have fresh fruit you can use those instead, just be sure to add the ice too.
Note that the yogurt is listed last because in our case we did half with and half without. I like yogurt, but my boyfriend does not. So we did the full blend without the yogurt, he poured out his portion, and then we added in a half container of yogurt. We gave it a short blend to mix it in for me. So you can make it either way.
The cost per serving is $2.13
Nutrition with the yogurt, per serving:
calories - 301.3
fat - 4.7g
cholesterol - 29.2g
sodium - 153.8
total carbs - 43.3g
fiber - 3.1g
net carbs - 40.2g
protein - 21.2g
vitamin C - 120%
Nutrition without the yogurt, per serving:
calories - 165.3g
fat - 2.2
cholesterol - 25g
sodium - 98.6
total carbs - 25.4g
fiber - 3.1g
net carbs - 22.3g
protein - 10.1g
vitamin C - 113%
So you can definitely shave off carbs, if you need to, by omitting the yogurt. In general this wouldn't be good for someone in the first two weeks of induction, but it should be fine for people in later stages of low carbing.
