Finding the Peace Within

Finding the Peace Within
Only by changing our inner selves do we see the change we want in the world. If you'd like to see a peaceful world, then you must start with finding peace within. I channelled the following guidance on the nature of peacefulness:

Be at peace and know that I AM. You do not need to hurry or struggle through your day. More can be accomplished through deep relaxation. Remove yourself from the endless wheel of work and tasks to sink deep within. It is within that you find my voice. You cannot find it by searching out in the world.

I AM always speaking to you, but you do not listen. To listen you must be quiet. Let your thoughts go and be still. You will sink into the timelessness that is my realm. There is nothing to do here and nowhere to go, just an ocean of deep and everlasting peace.

Do not measure your worth by achievement in the world. That is the world of illusion. It feels real to you but it is finite and all things there must pass. Truth is unlimited and eternal.

Many interruptions to your communion will come and go. You will hear noise and be pulled from your reverie. Allow these noises to wash over you and bring yourself back to your meditative state. As more of you awaken the physical world grows noisier. It is the work of the ego to bring in more distraction. The ego pulls you away from peace and stillness. “What are you doing? Why are you sitting there wasting your time?” Do not be distracted, just come back to the peace at your core.

It is not truly possible to waste time as time is a man-made construction. There are the seasons of the natural world and the rhythms of the days, but nothing in Nature counts time. Time creates stress as you race against it. Do not count how many minutes you meditate. When you drop down into the stillness within it is timeless. There is no stress in that state, only when the ego reasserts itself and tells you to hurry, to get on with doing things.

If you review your life you may notice that your most treasured moments had a timeless quality to them. When you are hurrying and busy you cannot touch joy. Opportunities for contentment are all around you, but you do not notice them, because your ego says you have too much to do. Peace, joy and contentment come when you relax. You cannot experience peace by working at it, or contentment by trying harder, you only experience these states when you drop into them.

How do you drop into peace if you can’t reach it by trying? Stop all your doings and simply allow it to arise. The state of peace is always within you but it is masked by continual activity. This is why many people in your so called Third World seem happier and more content that those who live in material luxury.
Connect with Nature to quiet your frantic mind. Just look at a flower, a bird, a stone, a tree. Do not label or categorise it, just watch and be present with it. Let Nature calm your thoughts and take you to the state of inner peace.

Although you are in the world, know that you are not of the world. Your essence is eternal, peaceful and cannot be added to one iota by all the hurrying, striving and busy work you do. Your presence simply needs to shine through. As you express your Self as you truly are in the world you remind others of their true Selves and so humanity comes back to an awareness of inner peace. What is within will manifest without and so the evolution of mankind will come about.
