If your reading time is short, magazines are an excellent way to read short stories and novellas from both seasoned and new authors. Finding SF and fantasy magazines can be a challenge sometimes, but here are some genre specific magazines to check out:

Absolute Magnitude
Quarterly science fiction magazine


Amazing Stories
The classic magazine now re-imagined for a new generation of fans. They publish science fiction, fantasy, supernatural horror and superheroes.


Analog Science Fiction & Fact
This monthly magazine focuses on plausible scifi and also includes science articles. Analog is one of the best selling and most highly regarded SF magazines.


Asimov’s Science Fiction
The Hugo and Nebula award-winning magazine of science fiction is also the 2001 recipient of the Locus Award for Best Magazine.


Aurealis Magazine
An Autralian SF & fantasy magazine


Fantastic Stories of the Imagination
Publishes both Science Fiction and Fantasy.


Interzone
This Hugo award-winning science fiction magazine is published in the UK and often features big name SF authors.


Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction
This very well respected magazine publishes some of the best fiction in the genre. An award winning publication and the original publisher of SF classics like Stephen King's Dark Tower, Daniel Keyes's Flowers. 11 issues a year


Paradox
Magazine of historical short fiction, includes some fantasy and science fiction


Realms of Fantasy
The world’s largest magazine devoted to fantasy, in addition to fiction, they have features of movies, books, games and more.


Space & Time
A bi-annual magazine of Science Fiction and Fantasy, they publish sword & sorcery, supernatural horror, science fiction and hard categorize stories.
