Ragu Low Carb Alfredo Sauce
We tested the alfredo sauce this time around. The sauce has 2g carbs per serving, and believe me, it makes EVERYTHING taste better.
First, we had the alfredo sauce with steamed broccoli. Delicious. Next, we added in a bit of bacon to make the broccoli carbonara style. Also delicious. Continuing, we tried the mixture over a low carb tortellini. Just great.
Some low carbers complain that they get bored of broccoli, cauliflower and green beans. You don't have to be eating those veggies PLAIN day in and day out! Just put the sauces on them that you would normally put on pasta and other foods. This alfredo sauce is a prime example.
You could probably put this on just about any veggie and enjoy it. Chicken, too. And for the low carb pastas that sometimes taste a bit cardboardy, this sauce covers all manner of sins.
