Stacey Costas – book review
Stacey Costas Vampire (slash) Job Hunter by Tracy Zielinski is an e-book Urban Fantasy series which follows Stacey Costas through his many adventures in trying to get back into the world of the employed.

Imagine being an expert in your field - well-trained, experienced, dedicated to the responsibilities and sacrifices necessary for your chosen career.

Now imagine what happens when this chosen career is no longer a viable means of supporting you. Not only that, it is now politically incorrect and actually violates the rights of others.

Such is the misfortune of Stacey Costas – once a talented vampire hunter – now out of work with no qualifying skills for a replacement career.

Stacey Costas Vampire (slash) Job Hunter was originally posted as a series of blogs by author Tracy Zielinski. She wrote it as a creative means to expose the challenges and frustrations of being brilliantly prepared for a career but unable to find a job. Now, Stacey Costas Vampire (slash) Job Hunter is a series of e-books available on Amazon Kindle. Each one is ranked in the one-million range (out of 94 billion, Stacey Costas Vampire (slash) Job Hunter is obviously doing quite well!)

On the surface, each adventure leads the reader through the sometimes aggravating world of job-hunting, filled with loyal friends, back-stabbing siblings, night terrors, and feelings of impending doom buoyed against rising hope. Tracy Zielinski’s writing craft is incredible. She can open up a character’s soul to the reader with just a phrase. She has a profound knowledge of what drives each character, but a gentle way of weaving each one into the tale. She makes the main character tough, gorgeous, dark and brooding, down on his luck, vulnerable and yet so sexy and appealing and so human. I rushed through the whole series and then started over again.

Each chapter’s title begins with the word Temporary. I believe you will be delighted and intrigued by the many different combinations of concepts this one word provides.

Attention should be paid to the series mature content: this is definitely an adult urban fantasy because several of the stories have adult situations.

Dr. Tracy Zielinski (she used her time being unemployed to gain a Doctorate in Divinity) is a writer to watch. Put her on your list of up and coming authors. Stacey Costas Vampire (slash) Job Hunter is terrific.
