Aromatherapy for Valentine's Day
I recently found myself scouring the Internet in search of fitting aromatherapy blends to help me celebrate, affirm, and give love to myself this Valentine’s Day. As I was looking, the thought crossed my mind that what I found might be of help to you as well:).
I’ve decided to share a great site that I hope you enjoy as much as I have!
I encourage everyone, whether single or in a relationship, to take a moment to perform a conscious act of love for oneself, a self-love ritual if you will. This can be as simple as making that nourishing cup of tea that you never give yourself time to make or as elaborate as treating yourself to a day at the spa.
Whatever you do, enjoy yourself! And remember, at the end of the day, You loving You is most important!
AromaWeb: This site is filled with a wealth of information on essential oils and the practice and art of aromatherapy. Visit this page for Blends to Enhance Happiness, which I think is an important part of any self love ritual:). Try making yourself an air freshener to spray during the day or a massage oil to use in place of your lotion for that day.
Also visit AromaWeb’s Blends to Ease Loneliness page if you are finding that you are having a hard time dealing with the onset of Valentine’s Day. While you’re using the blends, be sure to affirm that you are a worthy and beautiful being and that as you give love, you receive love!
I would suggest writing down personal affirmations that you yourself create to use in addition or instead of this one, as they will have even more power because they come from your own energy and spirit.
