Russell Stover Sugar Free Chocolate Bunny

Russell Stover Sugar Free Chocolate Bunny
Easter seems to be all about chocolate bunnies - but those are bad for healthy living! Russell Stover has a sugar free bunny that is tasty and chocolatey!

The bunny is 2.5oz - about an adult hand-height tall, and solid milk chocolate. The bunny is chock-full of sugar alcohols - 35g per bunny - so if you have an issue with sugar alcohols, be sure to go easy on this. However, I ate pretty much the entire bunny myself (with a small bit of help) and it didn't bother me in the least. There's some sucralose in here for sweetness.

The texture is good, and in general the milk chocolate flavor is right on. There was really nothing to tell you that this was a sugar free variety of your favorite springtime treat.

Highly recommended for those who want to be part of the Easter festivities without bloating on sugar! I found mine in a regular CVS display, in with the other chocolate Easter items.

Note that I first reviewed these in 2005, and I'm eating them again in 2006, so they definitely are out there and available. Be sure to grab some for your Easter baskets!
