Nintendo Wii Sports Game
Guest Author - Lisa Shea

The launch title with the Nintendo Wii is the Sports pack. This set of five different games includes baseball, tennis, bowling, golf and boxing.

For each game in the list, click on the link to get a full length review of that game, along with screenshots.

Baseball
Baseball is done in a very simple way. Pitching is incredibly easy - while hitting is a challenge. There's no fielding or running done - all catches are done automatically.

Tennis
Tennis is pretty challenging in this set. While it's not necessarily hard to hit the ball, your opponents rarely miss a volley, meaning you go back and forth for long stretches.
Tennis Wii Review

Bowling
The least impressive of the five games, the background is boring, there's nothing going on around you, and the graphics are very simple.
Bowling Wii Review

Golf
Probably the best game to show off the Wii to friends. It's slow paced and calm, but the graphics are lovely, with forests, oceans and meadows around you.
Golf Wii Review

Boxing
The questionable one in the set, this game is all about you bashing your opponent in the head until he falls over, unconscious.

In addition to these five games, there is a training practice area where you can learn the skills. There is also a fitness area that is sort of like Brain Age, but for your body. It sends you through a series of three random activities and then determines your "physical age" based on how well you do.
