Natural Headache Remedy or Remedies

Natural headache remedy or remedies are possible.

More than 25 million Americans suffer from headaches and migraines. About 17 million or 75% are women. Approximately 6 million of those women have what are called “menstrual migraines.” Menstrual migraines occur around the time of ovulation and/or menstruation.

Episodes may last for hours or days, often leaving the victim bedridden and unable to fully function. There are many symptoms, but they almost always include recurring intense throbbing pain generally on one side of the head.

Although the causes of headaches and migraines are not fully known, they appear to be related to excess inflammation triggered by stress and hormonal imbalances. Eating certain foods like chocolate, caffeine, alcohol, MSG or taking various medications, including birth control pills may also trigger a reaction. Fortunately, many sufferers have found both prevention and relief with a less stressful lifestyle, moderate exercise, dietary changes and supplementing with natural anti-inflammatory fish oil.

Begin by finding ways to decrease the stress in your life. Next, start to improve your diet, drink plenty of water and add a simple mild exercise program. And, if you smoke, give it up. Surround yourself with supportive, fun and happy people. Consider getting regular massages to help reduce muscular tension especially around the neck and shoulders.

As much as possible, avoid processed foods, sugars, alcohol and caffeine products. Eat more whole grains, plenty of fresh fish and lots of colorful fruits and vegetables. Keep your fat consumption below 30% of your total calories – not too high and not too low.

Supplementing your diet with omega-3 salmon oil rich in EPA and DHA is another excellent headache relief strategy. Omega-3 fish oils contain natural anti-inflammatory properties, balance hormonal output and have a very beneficial effect on migraines and headaches. Yet, researchers find at least 85% of American women have diets deficient in omega 3 fish oils and nearly 20 percent are so low in EPA or DHA that testing methods are unable to detect any in their blood.

For best results, I highly recommend Salmon Oil Plus with UHPO3. It has a long safe history of helping millions of people around the world to find natural relief for migraine headaches, as well as arthritis, psoriasis, depression, heart disease, asthma, all forms of inflammation and other painful conditions.

The reason why is because Salmon Oil Plus with UHPO3 is the purest (zero toxicity), most complete and best balanced fish oil supplement on the market. It has all 8 omega 3 family members important to human nutrition – DHA, DPA, HPA, EPA, ETA, ETA (3), SDA and ALA. And they’re all in the same perfect natural balance found in fresh salmon.

For more detailed information on how Salmon Oil Plus with UHPO3 can help you get natural headache relief and help you, your family and your friends to look and feel their absolute best, go to www.omega-3.us website.
