Trans-fatty Acids

Trans-fatty Acids
Trans-fatty acids are most abundant in the form of partially hydrogenated vegetable oils. The processing of these oils turns the natural cis-fatty acid molecular structure into a toxic trans-fatty acid structure. These unnatural trans-molecules cause your blood platelets to be sticky, increasing the risk of circulation problems, strokes and heart attacks. Trans-fatty acids also interfere with the utilization of health building Essential Fatty acids (EFA). These are just two of the many negative side effects of deadly trans-fatty acids.
