Buying holiday presents for a low carber can be a tricky balancing act. You want to support them in their lifestyle without giving presents that seem to say "lose weight, you tubby person!"
While cookbooks seem appealing, it can be really tough to get a cookbook that someone doesn't already have. You could scan their library of course, but I find it safer to get them an actual food product I know they'll like. That way they can enjoy it without adding more clutter to their home :)

I realize that both of these are chocolate - I just can't see giving someone a low carb ketchup and having them be really thrilled :) Of course if someone is really into hot sauce or another type of item, finding them a low carb version could be the best present they ever receive.
Really, though, a key to supporting them in their lifestyle is to give them a present that encourages them to be ACTIVE. An active person is one that is metabolising well, meaning that they will maintain a healthy weight no matter what they eat. If your recipient loves to go walking, get them a MP3 player to listen to on their walks. If they love to golf, get them a new club to try out. If you can in any way encourage the low carber to get out and active, you are doing the very best thing you can for their health and happiness.
