Everyone loves puppies. They are so cute and cuddly you can't help but smile. I spent my whole childhood pining over other people's dogs wishing for one of my own. For as long as I can remember I wanted a German Shepherd and was known to go up to anything and win them over. I happened to marry a man who also grew up wanting a German Shepherd. It was one of the first things we bought together. Pets require a great investment in money, time and love. Some come easier than others but the benefits are great.
Here are seven puppy prompts to journal through:
Day One: Write about your favourite breed of puppy.
Day Two: Write about your first puppy (or the puppy you wished you had).
Day Three: Write about the death of a beloved dog.
Day Four: Puppies are very clumsy. Write about a time when you were clumsy.
Day Five: Man's best friend is...
Day Six: A dog is to a boy like a boy is...
Day Seven: How do you feel about killing animals for their fur?
Responses are not meant to be one sentence answers, elaborate on your answers. Meditate, reflect and enjoy.
Bonus: Have you visited your local Humane Society? Describe the experience. If you haven't, make a point of visiting then journal about it.
