Book Review of “Vintage Fashion, collecting and wearing designer classics,” is a handy reference for the costumer, collector, and vintage fashion enthusiast with an interest in 20th century styles for women. This book has been on my shelf since 2006 and I have no plans to eliminate it from my library. Book Review of “Roaring ‘20s Fashions - Jazz” Susan Langley's Roaring '20s Fashion is a richly detailed and illustrated look into the beautiful fashions of the early 1920s. This hardcover book is an ideal reference for costumers and collectors interested in this fashion era. Book Review of Platform Shoes Ray Ellsworth’s coffee table book entitled, Platform Shoes; a Big Step in Fashion, presents a magnificent and at times startling look at one of footwear fashion’s curiosities — the platform shoe. Here is my review of the book. Costume Material Suppliers My favorite material suppliers. Review of Collectible Fashions of the 1930s Make room on the bookshelf for Ellie Laubner's book, "Collectible Fashions of the Turbulent 1930s". This work from Schiffer Books will be a handy resource for costumers, designers, and vintage fashion enthusiasts.
