I've been hunkering down catching up on some reading this winter. I actually pushed this weeks planned article to sneak this one in. I was so taken by this woman and her efforts on behalf of the wilderness. My sister challenged me to write about Alaska and make her understand my love of it and get her to want to go. I hadn't done it yet. Maybe this will spur some interest for her and at least help explain what draws me there!

Arctic Dance-Review
So much of what we know about Alaska, has been conveyed by outsiders. Those of us who visit, fall in love, and then cannot get enough. What is the draw? There are many answers, but I found the most compelling in reading Arctic Dance, The Mardy Murie Story.
