From Your BellaOnline Editor

Autumn is probably my favorite time of the year. Even though I live in the south, I still enjoy the subtle change in seasons. For me, autumn is a time of reflection upon the past year and preparation for the holidays. I guess you could say, it's like New Year's Day for me. While I mentally note what has worked and what changes need to take place, I also take time to ponder what I could be doing to improve myself spiritually and temporally. The list, at times, seems impossible. After much thought and prayer, I realized I needed to reach out to others and let them know they are appreciated. Three weeks ago, I began writing short "thank you" notes to the Sacrament Speakers. All have been surprised, and I would venture to say, possibly bewildered. But I will remain steadfast - each deserves to know that he or she was heard and is appreciated.

This week, Amy Daniels shares some practical tips for Visiting Teachers who are assigned to a Letter Route. She discusses ways to make your Sisters feel appreciated and loved. Enjoy!

Warmly,

Alice Rienzo
