I hope that your October month is finding you well. I know that many are ill. During these times, it can be difficult to deal with that kind of challenge. I've found the perfect book to read during hard times. It is called "Am I Not a Man? The Dred Scott Story," written by Mark L. Shurtleff.

According to the book's information about the author:

"Mark L. Shurtleff attended...Brigham Young University, University of Utah College of Law, and...served as a missionary [in Peru]....

"Mark...is the first Attorney General in Utah to win re-election for a third term. [He] is married with five children..."
