The recent events in our world are heartbreaking. Yet we are told not to fear. The Lord knew of these things and shared them with prophets thousands of years ago, in addition to our modern-day prophets. We are to look to Him and serve others.

Regarding the events with Japan, let us pray for them. And to support those prayers, let us this Sunday make a humanitarian contribution. Find a tithing envelope and use it to fill in the humanitarian portion with a donation that you feel is appropriate. Let us serve not just with our hearts, but with our pocketbooks.

There are also other kinds of concerns, the kind that can destroy our youth from the inside. So here is the latest article from the LDS site at BellaOnline.com:

I hope to hear from you sometime soon, either in the forum or in response to this email message. I thrive on your feedback. And have fun passing this message along to family and friends, because we all love free knowledge!
