Beer Fox Laugh of the Week
Waiter: "Tea or coffee, gentlemen?"
1st customer: "I'll have tea."
2nd customer: "Me, too - and be sure the glass is clean!" (Waiter exits, returns)
Waiter: "Two teas. Which one asked for the clean glass?"
___________
Two men were in a restaurant and ordered fish. The waiter brought a dish with two fish, one larger than the other. One of the men said to the other, "Please help yourself." The other one said "Okay", and helped himself to the larger fish. After a tense silence, the first one said, "really, now, if you had offered me the first choice, I would have taken the smaller fish!" The other one replied, "What are you complaining for; you have it, don't you?"

Beer News:

Armand Debelder, brewer/blender at Drie Fontenain, Berseel, Belgium, lost 100,000 bottles of Lambic and gueuze May 23, 2009 when a thermostat malfunctioned. The lambic was subject to temperatures of 50 degrees C, or 122 degrees F. This amounts to one-third of his annual revenue. For enthusiasts of Drie Fontenein, this means that 37.5 cL bottles of gueuze will be scarce this summer.

Not one to be easily discouraged, Debelder has been taking a class in distillation, and hopes to be able to salvage the beer into a marketable liquor. Disposing of the ruined beer is not easily achieved. It would require being trucked to a facility in the Netherlands for environmentally safe disposal.
