Fibromyalgia and CFS

August 8 2009 Fibromyalgia and CFS Newsletter

Hi everyone,

I hope to find you well. Lots of things have been happening with my "enhanced" business. The Fibro Herbs website is coming along, and I am in the process of building a shopping cart with the initial products. As some of you know, I have been a direct seller for more than 16 years-dating back to my first year of marriage when I decided to join Home Interiors and Gifts to decorate my home at a discount. Over the years, I've felt it to be a fun way to buy products at a discount, connect with other people, and make extra cash. When I developed fibromyalgia, I couldn't do as much as I did in the past (including direct selling), so this forced me to change directions in life and become a direct sales marketing coach. Because the type of coaching that I do is so niche-specific, I work with about two to three clients per year,(I could do more if I wanted to-but this is enough for me since the projects can take anywhere from 3-6 months or longer to complete), so I keep some type of direct sales business on the side. I also love mentoring team members and changing people's lives through home parties, plus, I enjoy helping my clients market their products.

I created Fibro Herbs because of the countless emails requesting recommendations for conventional and alternative treatments for fibromyalgia. One of my "networking buddies" was apart of a nutritional company, and I would receive emails from her regarding the products and the opportunity. I decided to use some of the products before I recommended them to anyone. If you've been subscribed to my newsletter for awhile, you know how I feel about "snake oil" remedies and network marketing companies that capitalize on sick people. But, when I examined this company and their products, I realized that it was no more than an online health food store. There has been several supplements that I've taken for years that was recommended by fibromyalgia specialists that I've found to be helpful. You can visit http://www.fibroherbs.com and see some of them. Let me know what you think. I know some of you are massage therapists and other wellness consultants, and if you're interested in finding out how you can add a health store to you current practice, don't hesitate to email me and I'll tell you all about it!

This week, we will recap the latest medications approved by the FDA for the treatment of fibromyalgia. Take a look at a brief description of each of the medications and the pain reduction percentage.

Enjoy!
