QUOTE FOR THE WEEK

"Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind."
--- William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream

EDITOR RECOMMENDED BOOK

Okay so this time I'm actually recommending a book that I should read, not you! I'm recommending that I read 1984 by George Orwell. Believe it or not, I've never read the book! Shame I know, almost every literature fanatic has read and re-read that one, except me. So I will make out the time this week and next to read the book. If you haven't, you should join me too. I believe they have it on Google Play (if you have any android device) for $0.99:

https://play.google.com/store/books/details/George_Orwell_1984?id=Ku0wEGoXp9gC&feature=search_result#?t=W10.

and also at Amazon: http://www.amazon.ca/Nineteen-Eighty-Four-George-Orwell/dp/0141036141/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354242428&sr=8-1

or, you could borrow it from your local library. Enjoy! I plan to :)

EDITOR RANDOM FUN ACTIVITY

Let's try on some more writing like last time. This time, instead of making a list of what you appreciate about a loved one, write five things about YOURSELF. Sometimes we go through situations in life that make us feel insecure, inadequate, silly, and even unintelligent. It's normal, and it's part of life, but it's also wise not to let ourselves be beaten down by these negative turn outs. So take the time to appreciate yourself this time. What do you like most about you? What do you think you and others admire about you? Your smile? Your aggressively protective mannerism? Your attention to details? Whatever it is, write it down, and take the time to read through. As you do, remember and hold on to the fact that nobody is perfect, we all have our bad sides, worst days, but we are all unique in our own ways (not to sound 'cliche' in any way). So let's do this. Within the next 5 days. Good luck!
