Is Your School Giving Out Personal Info?
In Ventura County, California, a mother of elementary age children was shocked to learn that their names, addresses, phone numbers, and any contact information, were published in a school directory booklet, one that could fall into the wrong hands...

"Schools are not only places of education, it now seems that they are a social link for parents and students. The "giving out of personal information is unsound when it is for social groupings or activities. Putting personal info in a parents' booklet and making addresses, names of siblings, and phone numbers available to the general public is dangerous. Follow the link to the article and let me know your thoughts on this growing trend.

Over the next few weeks we'll be getting into info on summer schools, summer camps, and summer activities. Thanks to my readers for requesting thes topics as articles!" KH
