Transplanted from northern New York, I now live in a tiny town in central Florida with my wonderful husband, three great sons, and my mom. It’s a great time in my life, starting back to college to finish my degree in Elementary Education, writing for BellaOnline, and watching my sons embark on their adult life.

I currently substitute teach, although in the past I have been a Teacher’s Assistant and the lead floral designer in a local florist shop, Those were the paying jobs. The volunteer jobs were much more adventurous! I have been involved in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for over 17 years, training boys ,young men, and adult leaders.

With my three boys come a multitude of their friends, scores of cub scouts and boy scouts trampling through the house and at the dinner table. My sons have been my source of joy and laughter. And of course there have been those times of tears and frustrations. But I would never change a moment of it all.
