Hooters Wing Sauce - Hot

Chicken wings have been called the perfect low carb food. They certainly are incredibly tasty! With Hooters Wing Sauce, you add great flavor with zero carbs.

We actually had this on the shelf for several months after buying it on a whim. We weren't sure that we really wanted to add a Hooters flavor to a chicken wing. But eventually we decided that we might as well see how it tasted.

Wow, was it good! Even though it said "hot", it wasn't a burn-your-mouth hot. It begins as a mild flavor and then develops as you eat the wing. When we use it, first we deep fry the chicken. We drain the chicken. Then we roll the chicken in the hot sauce. Then it goes into the oven for 15 minutes at 350F to set the flavor, and it's ready!

Hooters actually has three flavors - medium, hot, and Three Mile Island. The medium and hot both have 0g carbs, while the Three Mile Island has 1.5g carbs. Nutrition-wise, the hot is best for low carbers.

You can use this sauce in all sorts of recipes, from egg salads to broccoli and cheese soup and more. This was really a great find for us, and we'll be sure to keep a supply of this in the house!
