Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows : Chapter 7 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows chapter 7, The Will of Albus Dumbledore. Today, is Harry Potter’s birthday. He awakens with his scar aching. Potter has a vision of Lord Voldemort searching for Gregorovitch. Neither Harry nor Ron Weasley knows who he is. Harry Potter receives birthday gifts from his friends. Ron gives Harry a book on charming witches. The Weasley family gives him a watch. Hermione Granger presents the birthday boy with a sneakoscope. Ginny gives him the best gift of all. She gives Harry a mind-blowing kiss. Ron is angry with Harry for kissing her. Ginny was so sad last year when Potter ended their relationship. Rufus Scrimgeour, Minister of Magic, arrives before Harry Potter’s birthday dinner. He demands a conference with the three friends, no adults. Scrimgeour tries to interview each one alone. They refuse to separate. The Minister announces the will of Albus Dumbledore. He left items in his will for them. The Ministry has held the objects for thirty days, checking for Dark Magic. Ron receives the Deluminator. Hermione receives a book, The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Harry receives the snitch caught in his first Quidditch match at Hogwarts. Scrimgeour interrogates the friends. Why did Dumbledore bequeath the items to them? There is one last item for Potter. The sword of Godric Gryffindor. Rufus Scrimgeour refuses to give it to Potter. Scrimgeour leaves the Burrow none the wiser concerning the reason for the bequests. The trio is as confused as Scrimgeour. Why did Albus Dumbledore bequeath anything to them? Ron flicks the Deluminator for a clue. Hermione skims the pages of the book. Harry reminds the pair how he caught the snitch. He swallowed it. Words appear on the snitch when it touches Harry’s lips. I open at the close. The trio's love for each other has them remaining together against the Minister of Magic. No matter how he questions them, they remain united. Ginny wordlessly shows Harry her feelings. The orphan Harry celebrates his birthday with a loving family. Notice the book Ron gives Harry. Will a book improve relationships with others?
