Layered Seafood Spread Recipe

Guest Author - Sandy Moyer

Layered Seafood Spread

Serve this mildly spicy crabmeat spread with your favorite assorted snack crackers.

  • 1 pkg. softened cream cheese (8 oz.)
  • 1 can (6oz.) crabmeat - drained, flaked and picked clean
  • 1/2 cup mild taco sauce
  • 1/4 cup prepared horseradish
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
Preparation -
Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then spoon it into a 9" or 10" glass pie plate or other shallow serving dish. Spread to cover the bottom of the dish. In a bowl, combine the cleaned and flaked crabmeat with the taco sauce, horseradish and lemon juice; mix well. Spread the mixture over the cream cheese. Chill for about one hour before serving. Serve with assorted snack crackers.

Iced Platter Serving Tray
Keep party foods conveniently cool with this 2-pc. platter. Fill the three-compartment, clear acrylic tray with ice and set the stainless steel platter on top for a chilled serving surface.
