Round-Up Beef & Beans

Round-Up Beef & Beans

  • 1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 medium bell pepper, coarsely chopped
  • 1 large onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 can pork & beans, 15 - 16oz.
  • 1 can great northern beans, drained, 16 oz.
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup steak sauce
  • 2 T. brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Preparation -
In a large skillet, over medium heat, brown and crumble the ground beef with the bell pepper and onion for about 10 minutes or until the ground beef is browned and the vegetables are barely tender. ( Drain off the fat. Stir in all the remaining ingredients. Bring to a low boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 to 15 more minutes - stirring occasionally.
