Tales of Beedle the Bard

The Tales of Beedle the Bard is the fairy tale book Professor Albus Dumbledore leaves to Hermione Jean Granger, Harry’s friend. She uses the fairy tale collection to help Harry understand the Deathly Hallows meaning. Harry uses it in Book 7, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It is on this famous and dangerous quest that Harry conquers Lord Voldemort (Tom Riddle).

Hermione’s copy of Tales of Beedle the Bard is in Runes. She translates the book. Now, the fairy tales are available for all to read. The Hogwarts Headmaster’s Archives kindly gives permission for the addition of Professor Dumbledore’s notes on the Wizarding tales. Also, J K Rowlings includes drawings.

Originally, J K Rowlings created seven copies which she gave to friends except one. She sold it to the online seller, Amazon.com. Now, J K Rowlings releases the book for the enjoyment of mere Muggles. Read the collection and enjoy the wizards’ fairy tales. Not only did they delight the Weasley siblings, but generations of wizards before and after.

Tales of Beedle the Bard contains five stories: The Fountain of Fair Fortune, The Wizard and the Hopping Pot, Bobbitty Rabbitty and her Crackling Stump, The Warlock’s Hairy Heart and The Tale of the Three Brothers. A recount of The Tale of the Three Brothers is in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Each tale may be an innocent story for kids, but the wise Hermione finds clues to the mystery surrounding her and friends, Ron and Harry.

J K Rowlings signed over all royalties to a foundation, Children’s High Level Group. Its goal is to provide assistance to vulnerable children in Europe.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard is a great addition to the prior Harry Potter seven books. It gives the reader a chance to revisit the wizard world. The fairytales are not a continuance of The-Boy-Who-Lived life stories, but a collection of wizard tales which helped the boy wizard defeat the evil Lord Voldemort.
