My Teacher is a Vampire

LC + the Critter Kids watch a vampire movie. The next day, a substitute teacher arrives. They are convinced Mr. Bat is a vampire. Mercer Mayer's My Teacher is a Vampire teaches children the consequences of jumping to conclusions.

Their substitute teacher, Mr. Bat, arrives in the classroom wearing a cape. He pulls down the shades. His teeth look like fangs. They conclude he is a vampire.

Mercer Mayer shows young readers what happens when you jump to conclusions. The picture book tells children to get facts.

Also, My Teacher is a Vampire shows how television effects us. The imaginary world of television is not the real world. We must separate the two worlds or make bad decisions.
