Best Ever Choocolate Frosting Recipe

Best Ever Chocolate Frosting

Here's an easy microwave recipe for a creamy homemade chocolate frosting.

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup butter
Preparation -
Mix all the ingredients together in a deep microwave safe bowl. Cook on 70% power for about 7 to 10 minutes or until the mixture starts to thicken. Let the frosting cool at room temperature until lukewarm, then beat with an electric mixer to a spreading consistency. Cool completely before spreading on your favorite cake, cupcakes, brownies, etc.

Anchor Hocking 2-qt. Glass Batter Bowl with LidAnchor Hocking 2-qt. Glass Batter Bowl with Lid

This 2 quart Batter Bowl lets you measure, mix and store. Use it for muffin or pancake batters, sauces, frostings, even gelatins. The lid is great for storing any leftover contents. It's made of tempered glass so you can use it in the microwave.
