Peanut Butter Crispy Treats

Peanut Butter Crispy Treats

  • 4 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup Karo® syrup (light)
  • 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter

Preparation -
Line a 9 " square baking pan with plastic wrap. Measure cereal into a large mixing bowl and set aside. Mix sugar and syrup together in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Boil 1 minute; remove from heat. Add peanut butter and stir until smooth. Pour mixture into mixing bowl over cereal and stir to coat cereal. Place peanut butter/cereal mixture in the square baking pan. Press with the back of a wooden spoon to spread evenly. Cool 15 minutes. Turn pan upside down and empty onto a cutting board. Cut into squares; wrap each square in plastic wrap.
