Strawberry Spinach Salad Recipe

Strawberry Spinach Salad


This is a simple to prepare, wonderful summer salad recipe. Prepare the dressing about 1 hour ahead of time.

    dressing ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika

    salad mixture:

  • 1 - 10 oz. bag baby spinach - washed and ready to use
    or, about the same amount of freshly picked baby spinach - washed and ready to use
  • 4 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds

Preparation -
Whisk all the dressing ingredients together. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour before serving. Toss the salad mixture together in a large serving bowl. Add the prepared salad dressing. Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.
