Green Bean Casserole

This recipe is for that famous Thanksgiving side dish, made with green beans, mushroom soup and French-fried onions.

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 packages (9 oz. each)  frozen green beans, cooked and drained,
    or  2 cans (16 oz. each) green beans, drained
  • 1 can (1-1/3 cups) French-fried onions

Preparation -
Mix the mushroom soup, milk, and pepper together in a 2 quart or larger casserole. Stir in the green beans and 2/3 cup French-fried onions. Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for 30 minutes. Top with the remaining 2/3 cup French fried onions. Bake for an additional 5 minutes.
