Day of Defeat: WW2 on the Net Looking for great WW2 action gaming on the net? You can get a free mod for HalfLife that draws you into the Axis - Allies action!

Zoo Tycoon is Great for All Ages The tycoon games get more and more fun as each new one comes out - the developers definitely learn from past experience and build suggestions into the new versions. Zoo Tycoon, the latest release, is about as fun and addictive as you can get!

Asheron's Call: Dark Majesty a Worthy Upgrade There are many, many people out there who love on line role playing games. From the early days of text MUSHes to the current amazing graphics, role playing with hundreds to thousands of other users has a built in attraction.

Halflife: Counterstrike is a Must Have Let me first start by saying I was once quite against first-person-shooters. Games that encouraged you to run mindlessly around, shooting other people, didn't seem to have much value. That was until I played CounterStrike, though.

Emperor: Battle for Dune an Excellent Game The Dune series has always offered something for RTS fans, and this one outdoes itself. The graphics are great, gameplay is incredibly well done, and the cut-scenes are right on target. If you're a RTS fan, this is the game for you!

Diablo 2 Expansion is Worth the Cash Diablo 2 was a great game, but the graphics end was sorely lacking. The developers have outdone themselves with this expansion that shines the graphics VERY nicely!

Startopia is Hugely Addictive! One of the best game to come along in YEARS, Startopia is a must-have for any gamer who enjoys The Sims, Dungeon Keeper, or just great gameplay.

Sacrifice: Buy It or Else! Many other games claimed to offer the best graphic and god-playing around. Sacrifice truly delivers on these promises!

Myst 3 Worthy of the Praise Gorgeous graphics highlight this stellar puzzle game. A must-own for all ages!

Black and White is really just Grey I had SUCH high hopes for this game. A series of moral questions with real depth. Instead you have insipid angels and devils, stupid creatures, and gorgeous graphics.

The Longest Journey: A Review This RPG lets you play a teenage girl - giving you tons of dialogue, nice graphics, but a pretty ditzy and snotty heroine. Ah, the compromises ...

Zeus: Master of Olympus The third in a line of city-building games, this one is set in ancient Greece. While it's not historically accurate to have gods stomping around on the earth, it certainly is fun!

A new look is still fun on Monkey Island The Monkey Island series has always been incredibly funny with good graphics. This latest game, Escape from Monkey Island, definitely ups the ante!

Red Alert 2 - A Fun Sequel The Command & Conquer series is famous in strategy gaming for its stellar multiplay. Learn more about the latest installment, just in time for the holidays!

Baldur's Gate II: More RP Fun The Baldur's Gate series is well known for its great role play and strategy. With BG2, Black Isle proves they can keep improving on a good thing.

Animorphs is fun for the younger set Animorphs is a popular series by Katherine A. Applegate. This game is a great way to entertain its fans.

Ground Control - great graphics and gameplay! This game has great graphics and the lead character is a hardened 34 year old combat veteran. If you enjoy infantry and tank battles, give this a try!

Diablo 2 on Battle.Net - An Overview Interested in multiplaying Diablo 2 on Battle.Net? Read more about how it works!

Transportation and Airport Tycoon With Railroad Tycoon 1 and 2 being so incredible popular, it was time to trace its roots and to look forward into its future.

New free Majesty Quest to Download If you like Majesty, you should download this new quest. It's a preparation for their expansion pack, it's super-hard to beat, and it's free!

Nox: Quest addition is great! Nox has come out with a fantastic add-on, enabling a new Quest mode. If you're a Nox-head, you must download it!

Railroad Tycoon II: Great fun for everyone The Railroad Tycoon series is famous amongst strategy gamers for its fine gameplay and non-violent basis. Railroad Tycoon II even has a lot of historical information!

Star Trek Armada: Approaching Strategy at Warp Factor .5 Star Trek Armada is the best Trek game to come out yet. That still doesn't make it a shining example of strategy gaming ...

1602AD Good Start for New Gamers Interested in settling on a desert island? This game is much like Caesar III and Age of Empires 2, but is easier to learn and simpler to play.

Warning: Sims Living Large is way too addictive! The Sims were fun enough to begin with. This expansion adds great new jobs, amazing new objects, wallpaper and household changes, plus multiple neighborhoods. If you enjoy the Sims, this is a must-buy!

Tzar: A little bit of everything Tzar is a strategy game much like Age of Empires and StarCraft. Some might say it's a little TOO much like those other games.

Metal Fatigue Review Interested in this Mech-Warrior-Like strategy game? Read more about it and see what it's all about.

Majesty Expansion Pack Preview Majesty is coming out with a great new expansion pack! Read all about the details, new monsters, new quests.

Dark Reign 2 Strategy games can often seem alike. Tanks, flying units, ground units, medics and bases attack each other until one is the victor. Certain games make a stride forward to bring the genre along, and Dark Reign 2 is definitely one of those!

Sim Theme Park Aren't there enough funhouse games out there - how did we end up with Sim Theme Park and Rollercoaster Tycoon coming out at about the same time? How does Sim Theme Park stack up against the Tycoonster?

Diablo 2 is Out!! It's been on the "most waited for game" list for months and months. Ads from several other software companies made fun of its delay or tried to lure away those waiting for its release. After all of the countless promises and retractions, Diablo 2 is finally on the shelves. Was it worth the wait?

Shogun: Total War I love feudal Japan. I've been editor for a magazine on feudal Japan for over ten years, have made kimono, and love watching Japanese movies for hours and hours. It was a natural for me to buy Shogun: Total War as soon as it was out. After all, I have the Shogun board game, and play that quite a bit.

Planescape Torment Sure, it's built on the same great engine that Baldur's Gate was. Same third person view, with the great graphics and sounds that BG is famous for. However, the developers of Planescape definitely knew what they were doing when they enhanced the system. They addressed many complaints gamers had with BG, and took it to another level.

Roller Coaster Tycoon Like Pharoh and Caesar III, this is a game of designing buildings and walkways to keep your people happy. In this case the people are not residents, although with some staying in your park for 60 days or more, you have to wonder where they are sleeping!

Nox At first glance, this game seems like a rip-off of many other games out there. You can be a warrior, conjurer or wizard. You come from Earth, you're sent into another dimension where you are the Only Hope. However, when you start up the game, the graphics amaze you.

The Wheel of Time With story by Robert Jordan and graphics by GT Interactive, this game was bound to turn a few heads!

Majesty rules! Yet another entry into the Age of Empires / Civilization / Settlers 3 arena shows promise for fun!

Diplomacy Stalls One of my favorite on line strategy games fails when it moves to the PC.

Gaming Downloads Want to play more games, but don't have the moolah? These demos are often playable for weeks!

Dungeon Keeper 2: 2000 Update! The patch is out! Now you can get elite creatures, play past the end of a level, and much more!

Starship Titanic Review This wander-about mystery strategy has beautiful graphics. You could wander just for the sheer visual beauty!

On Line Strategy Gaming You just grabbed the latest software, but now you have nobody to play with. Don't despair, the internet has many options!

Pharoh This latest cool release from Sierra follows in the footsteps of Caesar III, but adds in features of a culture that lasted thousands of years!

Age of Empires II: Age of Kings How could anything be better than the other Age of Empires games? Try an on line tech tree, histories on all the cultures, even more appropriate parts of life like sheep herding and looms, and great formation commands. Amazing!

Army Men: Toys In Space Army Men was fun enough when it first came out - little plastic guys melting and blowing up. Now you add in Martians and what do you have? Fun for the entire universe!

Homeworld's Graphics Amaze I love space combat games, and the graphics on this one are quite details and amazing. Gameplay is interesting, strategic and challenging. A must try for any serious gamer!

Pit Droids are Oodles of Fun! I passed by this game the first time I wandered the shelf, because it looked like a kids game that would be too boring for adults to play. I do love the pit droids, though, so when I wandered by again I picked it up just to see what it was all about.

Alpha Centauri Delivers Sometimes you worry about a sequel game. If the previous games were really good, you almost build your expectations up too high and are then disappointed by the sequel when it comes out. That's not the case with Alpha Centauri!

Worms Armageddon is a Blast I admit it. Sometimes, strategy games can be a little too ... serious. The Command & Conquer series is known for this - featuring video clips of Nod minions shooting each other in the head on screen and commanders screaming at you to do better. Worms breaks this mold!

Tiberian Sun Shines Brightly Years ago, Command & Conquer took the strategy gaming world by storm, with a game based on the old Dune game, but with great graphics, resource gathering, strategy, you name it. We've played each successive sequel and enjoyed them greatly. Now, the latest version has just hit the streets - Tiberian Sun. The game was worth the wait!

Dungeon Keeper 2: Worth the Wait For those of us who eagerly bought Dungeon Keeper when it was first released, the world of DK is both rich and addictive. Even as recently as last week, my son and I spent the weekend replaying levels in Dungeon Keeper, building our dungeons, training our minions, and wishing that DK2 would finally get released.
