Dead Reckoning Porter - Troegs Brewing Company, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA
Style: American Porter - 5.4% ABV

A walnut brown body lays hazy and unfiltered in the glass with a firm, one-finger head of ecru above. Aromas are of roasted barley and chocolate malt blend with a fresh earthiness from Chinook hops. On the palate, bitter chocolate merges with espresso roastiness, while subtle dark fruit peeks in from the back. The full body is substantive enough to take you away. A true liquid bread, with enough heft to satiate the spirit.
