Dear Readers,
Spring is on the way (though it’s been temporarily buried under three inches of fresh snow)! Small flocks of snow buntings are flushing from bare gravel, the bald eagles that nest down the road have returned, and the buds on the cottonwoods are starting swell, filling the air with a pungent scent on warm, sunny days. With sixteen hours of visible light and a six minute gain per day, we are quickly moving towards those long days when night is not much more than a shadow. This is one of my favorite times of year.
Since my last newsletter, I’ve posted three new articles on the Alaska site at BellaOnline.com.
Book Review – Ada Blackjack
