On Thursday, I was involved in a bizarre playground incident where my daughter's friend was mistreated by an unknown little boy and my friend (the girl's mother) had to step in. The boy's mother, who wasn't on the scene when it happened, handled it very badly once she came over. I've been pretty steamed about it since! So here's my constructive outlet on thinking about the times when we find ourselves in situations like this one.

Here's some thoughts on those times when you may find yourself wanting or needing to intervene in the behavior of another person's child on the playground or other place. Specifically addresses physical or verbal hurting, unsafe behavior and inappropriate behavior.
