Bottle Popping Poltergeist in Long Island
If you were watching or listening to the news in early February 1958, you might remember the story of a poltergeist called Popper invading a home in the Long Island suburb of Seaford, New York. This was the first time a haunting was shown on television, and Popper didn’t fail to entertain!
There is too much supporting evidence to have any doubt that the Willington house and Mill in North Tynesdale of England is haunted, and has been since at least 1834.
Mongolian Death Worm
Although not nearly as large as the worm in the movie “Tremors,” a rooftop would still be as good a place as any to be if you come across the acid-spitting, electricity-throwing Mongolian Death Worm. Of course, a rooftop might be rather difficult to find in the Gobi Desert.
Review of Paranormal Activity
I had been waiting for this movie since first seeing it advertised. Many people on Facebook commented on how frightened they were after seeing the film. My daughter works with a couple who had to sleep with their lights on all night afterwards.
Caseyville, Illinois Haunted House
A lovely two-story house on a hill near woods, surrounded by flowers, in a little Midwestern town outside of St. Louis was once the site of secret ceremonies to conjure demons.
Mermaid Sightings in Israel
This past August (2009), a series of mermaid sightings began to be reported in the coastal town of Kiryat Yam, in Israel. There have been several dozens of sightings of a female mermaid in this coastal town by the Mediterranean Sea, near Haifa.
Zozo and the Ouija Board
Most people know that the story of The Exorcist was actually based on a true story of a young boy possessed by a demon, and taken to the old Alexian Brothers Hospital in St. Louis to be helped. Many don't know that, as in the movie, the trouble all started with an Ouija board.
UFO Abductees: Betty and Barney Hill
Betty, a social worker with a Master’s Degree, and her husband, Barney Hill, an employee of the United States Post Service, were on their way home from a vacation in Canada in the autumn of 1961, when an event occurred that would change their lives significantly and eternally.
Giant Rabbits of England
I adore Jimmy Stewart in Harvey, the movie about the giant invisible rabbit. Of course, it would be rather difficult to “sight” an invisible rabbit. But, the townspeople of Felton in northeast England had their hands full in 2006, with a giant rabbit and his voracious appetite!
Major R. Sumerford vs. Lightning
I enjoy being out in a storm, and feeling like I’m part of the excitement of it all! If Major R. Sumerford of Vancouver, Canada, was alive today, I’m sure he would consider that to be very foolish behavior indeed. Sumerford was struck by lightning three times during his life in Canada.
