Chapter 27 Order of the Phoenix The Centaur and The Sneak. The first class with Firenze goes well, Harry's DA group is caught and Dumbledore runs from the law.
The Divinations class is in a new location, a first floor classroom that Firenze has trnasformed into a meadow. They learn that Firenze has been banished from his herd for working with Dumbledore, because the Centaurs are so anti-wizard. They are angry at previous attempts to be subjugated by the wizards.
Firenze teaches them that stars are long-term, general predictors and have nothing to do with daily ups and downs. He then tells Harry to get Hagrid to stop what he's doing. Harry tells Hagrid this but Hagrid refuses.
In the DA class, they work on Patronus spells. Dobby comes in and tries to let them know that Umbridge is coming without violating his vows. The students all run but Potter is caught by Draco. Umbridge immediately drags him to see Dumbledore. Cornelius Fudge is there as is Kingsley Shacklebolt and Percy Weasley.
Harry plans on being defiant but following a lead from Dumbledore he says he doesn't know what he did wrong. Marietta, one of the DA members, is brought in and her face is marked with the word "Sneak" for her traitorous revelation. Umbridge reveals that she knows about the initial meeting in the bar. Dumbledore points out that it was NOT illegal to gather at the time of the meeting, so there was nothing wrong with it.
Umbridge pulls out the list she has of the students and says she caught the meeting tonight, and Dumbledore points out that the list says "Dumbledore's Army", therefore it is his own fault. Dumbledore cheerfully takes all the credit and Harry tries to stop him, realizing Dumbledore will be a prisoner.
But Dumbledore easily resists their capture attempt, and sails off with Fawkes.
